InstallationFor three generations the Hamilton's have been installing lightning protection systems for any size or type structure. Using only UL approved copper or aluminum materials. We offer concealed systems during new construction or semi-concealed systems that blend into the aesthetics of an existing structure.
Concealed ProtectionThe nationwide trend to new construction in cities, surburban and rural areas is to install the concealed systems. Concealed lightning protection must be installed during construction. Conductor cables, grounds and metal interconnections are inconspicuously coursed along studding and rafters during framing, in the same manner as plumbing or electrical wiring.
Semi-concealed ProtectionOn completed buildings, the conductors are hidden by placement along ridge rolls, behind verge boards, spouting, and in other ways, utilizing special fitting for the purpose. There is no damage to the structure and the system is inconspicuous. Ornamental PointsOrnate points are available on both concealed and semi-concealed systems. Modern day architecture lends itself for wrought iron effect ornaments to enhance the appearance of long, plain ranch type ridges and flat roofs. Aluminum and CopperEither of these materials are used for lightning protection systems, but should never be used together without special connectors. Aluminum parts are made heavier and larger to have the same conductivity as copper. There are precautions to be observed in the use of either metal. We will gladly advise on the most suitable choice for any specific condition. Home Protection System includes:
